COMPANY HISTORY

GEM was established in December 1993 in Stocksfield, Northumberland, providing maintenance and sales of computer hardware to businesses and the public sector in the Tyne Valley, Newcastle city centre and County Durham areas. At that time one of our services was a 'specialist monitor repair service', where we repaired monitors to component level (how times have changed!)

In 1997 we moved our base to Consett, County Durham and extended our range of services to include Data network cabling installations and computer network support cover.

We are now a well-established company with a sound reputation and loyal customer base.

We also have firm links with some other IT companies in the Northeast so where necessary we can call on over 90+ years of IT experience!
